Chris Holly’s exhibition of rare Antarctic images opens at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) Library on Thursday 4th June and runs to 1st July. The opening by David Paterson will be held on 4th June at 5:30pm for 6:00pm. The exhibition can be viewed during normal library hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-9pm, Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday/Sunday 1pm-5pm.

From the artist: “Mountains have no need of names. They were raised without names and will dwell long after our words fall silent. Mountains have no need to know their height or location. They settled well before we arrived. Names will never hurt them. The truth of mountains lies in that which we cannot measure or name. This is journey to a place where every mountain is nameless, unmeasured, and unclimbed.”

The paper selected for the exhibition was Hahnemühle Bamboo.
